YOUR ACCOMMODATION
Most hotels have showers rather than baths. The water at many hotels is controlled by solar power, which means that at time there may not be continuous running water. Air conditioning is sometimes centrally controlled and as an energy saving measure may only be available at certain times of the day.
If three people share a room in order to save paying the single room supplement you may find the third person is sleeping on a bed which may be a camp bed or sofa bed, added to a twin room. Please note a charge is sometimes made by hotels for facilities such as Turkish baths, fitness centres, tennis courts, entrance to discos, water sports etc.

DEPARTURE FROM YOUR RESORT
You will be informed of your departure time from your hotel either by your local representative, or by checking the information on your notice board or at reception. You are usually required to vacate your accommodation by 12 noon on the day of your departure. The hotel management may provide a courtesy room for changing and storage of luggage or they may allow you to keep your room for longer, but they are entitled to make a charge for this.

PASSPORTS
All passengers rquire a full 10 year passport. Holders of non-British passports should check with the appropriate embassy or consulate as to visa requirements. Full British passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the return date. Children under 16 years old have been required to have their own passport since 5 October 1998. Children (including infants) under the age of 16 included in their parents passport are not affected and can continue to travel on those documents until they reach the age of 16 or until the passport is changed - whichever is soonest.

VISAS
Visitors to Turkey are required to pay a visa fee at the airport. For British passport holders this is £10 per person, including infants, payable in sterling. Scottish notes are not accepted. Exact money should be obtained. Non-British passports, including EC or Irish Republic passports, are requested to contact the appropriate Emassies in London to check if additional visas are required.

HEALTH MATTERS
No compulsory vaccinations or health precautions are required for British visitors to Turkey. For advice please contact you GP or Department of Health on 0800 555 777. Health Regulations are subject to change. As with any foreign country with unfamiliar food, take aprticular care what you eat and drink in Turkey. We do not recommend that you drink the tap water, but bottled water is widely available.

NIGHT FLIGHTS
When travelling on a night flight, you accommodation should be available to you on arrival. This means that if you are scheduled to arrive in resort before 12 noon, your accommodation will have been booked for you from 12 noon the previous day. This is, therefore, deemed to be the first night of your holiday. The above procedure for departure will, therefore, still apply, and you will be required to vacate your room by 12 noon on the day of departure.

CURRENCY: TURKISH LIRA
It is easy to exchange sterling cash and traveller's cheques at banks, exchange offices and most hotel receptions in Turkey. Please note scottish notes are not normally accepted. Some Turkish cash point mchines now accept UK cash point cards. International credit cards are widely accepted at most places in Turkey, although commission is often charged.
